Covered. Is an upholstery business. We can offer access to contemporary commercial fabrics to breathe new life into your furniture pieces.
Where is Covered. based?
Our factory and upholstery team is located in Eagle Farm in Brisbane.
What fabrics do you offer?
We offer fabric from many commercial fabric suppliers - Kvadrat, InStyle, Woven Image among others.
Our experienced team will advise which would be most suitable for the type of furniture that is being upholstered.
Can I use my own fabrics?
Absolutely, we will happily use what you provide and advise it if it suitable for the work.
What info do you need to provide me with a quote?
There is a dedicated information sheet that we ask you complete to assist us with providing a quote. Essentially we need to know the size and condition of your piece. We will provide an indicative quote which we will confirm once we see the item.
What is your ‘virtual’ sales call?
We will arrange a video call with you and the piece that you need upholstered. The team can see what needs doing and offer the most accurate indicative quote.
How long will it take to complete my job?
We will update you every step of the way during the process. The level of work required and the availability of the fabric chosen will determine the actual timeframe.
How do I arrange delivery to your factory?
Depending on where the item is located, we can help you with the best way to get it to our factory.
What are payment terms?
We ask that you pay only a deposit to cover the cost of ordering the fabric to commence the job. Full payment is not required until the job is completed and the goods are ready to be delivered/picked up.

Will you restore the other parts of the sofa?
Covered. is an upholstery business only. We will restore any parts of a piece of furniture required to enable re-upholstery. We do not do furniture restoration.
What happens if I’m not happy with the outcome?
We want to ensure that you are happy with the end result and ask that you inspect the work before taking receipt of the finished item. This can be done at our factory before pick up or before unloading into your premises.
What happens if my piece incurs damage while being re-upholstered?
We will undertake a condition report of the goods before we commence work for you to agree to . Re-upholstering should not cause any damage.
